ROCKADEX MEDTRONIC PATCHES ROSE GOLD VARIETY PACK APPLICATION TIPS

  • When applying adhesives ensure the skin in clean and dry and rub it onto the area well. This will heat up the tape and ensure it lasts.
  • Avoid getting the area wet for at least an hour after application.
  • The tape should last 6-7 days depending on your skin type.
  • When removing the tape lift it from above the transmitter and use scissors to carefully cut a line upwards. This will ensure the CGM sensor stays in place and you can replace with a new adhesive.
  • For a little extra protection and to help your CGM stick to your skin better you can use Skin Tac,  a  pre-CGM barrier wipe which gives the skin a ‘tacky’ surface for your CGM and patch to adhere to.
  • To make removal easier, you can also use Tac Away.
